First I want to say that the 500 Likes Celebration Event was absolutely amazing, and so much fun! I couldn't believe the amount of people who contributed prizes and the amount of people who attended. Everyone kept telling me "Thank you" for introducing them to new authors...but I want to say, "Thank YOU for introducing me to new people who might actually like my books, and may become one of my new Zombie-Heads. Hehe! I love my Zombie-Heads.

Second, I screwed up a few times (sorry Fiona Wilson and Lesa Miller-Cox, and whoever else this applies to) but everyone was very understanding and awesome about it all. (And thank you, Rene and Roxi, for the help you gave me in using my base and adding your info to it, so all I had to was copy and paste, and maybe add the time and game #.) But considering I only had two days to plan for this because my "Likes" shot up much faster than I had ever dreamed - and one of those two days I spent with my hubby in the hospital - I was having to write up the posts as the game went, post everything and try to make sure it was all correct, monitor the comments, watch the times, go back and forth from random.org (Randy) picking winners - which I would have to check first to make sure they actually did every step they were told to do - posting the winner, and then having to deal with mother nature and the call of the bathroom. Plus, finding time to eat something and make sure hubby was taken care of. With all that, I am officially a zombie...braindead.

Today, I am dealing with an incredibly stiff neck, my hands were stuck in the typing position (not very attractive, I must say!) and are still in incredible pain. When they started to loosen up, they went into spasms. I was in public in a room full of people who, of course, ALL noticed it. And let's not forget the incredible pain in the ass I've got! No, not my hubby - a literal pain in my ass from sitting all those hours. Since TWO Saturdays ago, I have now gotten a total of 4 hours sleep, thanks to the hour nap I got this afternoon. (But that can't all be blamed on the event. LOL)

So was the celebration event worth all that? No, it really wasn't. It was worth so much more.  Seeing everyone have fun, win prizes, meet new readers and authors, and the messages and comments I got from both the authors and readers, made me so happy and proud to be C. M. Wright - and to have these people supporting me is a very empowering feeling.

I truly hope you all had a good time, and I can't wait to be able to do this again...ok, I CAN wait long enough to recover, but not too long after that. But the next time, oh yeah baby, I am giving myself at least a week of getting ready.

Love you all!

My Author Page has finally hit the 500 Likes mark, thanks mostly to my amazing fans. I love my fans!

So in celebration of that, and to show them just how much I love and appreciate them, I'm having a MONSTER of an event. Tons of games and prizes. So many awesome authors and businesses are giving away the prizes, and if any of you are reading this...I LOVE YOU TOO!

But because of a book signing I have next Saturday, and family stuff the weekend after, we have to have it this weekend. My hubby is having surgery tomorrow morning. I have so much to do and so very, very little time to do it - considering we just hit the 500 mark last night. You'd think I'd be freaking out but...I'm ready...BRING IT ON!

So it's Saturday, Sunday - and by the way it's looking - Monday too. It will start 9am CST. So come and celebrate with us! Everyone's welcome.  Click HERE to join the party!

The Walking Dead...I have NOT watched tonight's episode so please do NOT tell me anything about it!!! (This contains a few spoilers from past episodes. I warned you!)
This is what I do. I don't watch on Sunday nights; I save the episodes for a week. I don't know why, except maybe to prolong the damn show as long as I can. Last week, I had my mom here visiting and didn't watch, so I had two episodes waiting for me. I decided tonight that I'd better watch them so I could watch the finale, because if what has been rumored to happen really happens, I'm not going to be able to avoid hearing about it. I hate that!
HOWEVER!!! I watched the first episode I was behind, you know, the one where it was mostly Andrea and the Governor? Finished that one, no problem. Then I started on last week's episode. (Side note: I've always been afraid people would think I'm stealing my stuff from TWD, there are a few similarities, but none intentional. It's just the way things happened. BUT...for the ones who have read or WILL read book 4...the part where Jake loses the keys? That was totally written long before last Sunday's episode aired with Merle! WOOHOO! TWD stole from me now! I am so hot :P )
ANYWAY, the end of this episode - altho I couldn't stand Merle - and would have been happy with his death *BEFORE* he let Michonne go - I bawled...like a frikken baby. DAMN IT! Why do they have to show humanity and decency in characters they want you to hate, then kill their ass off???
That being said, I knew many more deaths were coming, and I'm ashamed to say I wussed out. Can't do it. I need time to mourn Merle before I can move on and GOD HELP ME! mourn someone I really do like. Please don't kill anyone in Rick's group, Michonne included!!! Andrea...yeah whatever. I know she's s.l.o.w.l.y. changing, but she just irritates me.
I'm sure you'll know when I get brave enough to watch the last episode. Until then remember....SHHHHHHHHHHH!

At this very moment, book four - Determined To Live - is now available on my website. As of this moment book four is being published on Amazon. Tomorrow and the next few days, I will be getting it published on Smashwords and all those other places.
Tonight?
Tonight I rest my aching head, my cramped fingers, my soggy brain, and my painful butt. Break time for a bit.
Hope you all enjoy the new book - and the first ones if you haven't read them yet - and PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE leave reviews.

Over and out.........ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

I've gotten a lot of emails from people with questions about me, my series, and characters - and so many are the same questions - that I decided it might be better to have the questions and answers together  in one place.
Ask me anything you want about me or the Zombie Overload series either here, on Facebook, Twitter, or my email - and I'll answer if I can. Want to know more about Canada and her family? Just ask!

Here are the questions most often asked:

1.    Are the Zombie Overload books really written about you as Canada?
Yes and No. The very first book is all me. The second book is mostly me and a little Canada. The third, mostly Canada and a little me - while the fourth is all Canada. Although there are some things that really happened to me thrown into book four, Canada reacts differently to certain situations and - amazingly enough -  I actually don't take her as deep into some of the situations that I lived through.

2.    When do you plan to end the Z/O series?
Since I had never intended for there to ever be a series, I can't tell you that, because I have no idea. So far, I have no set plans to end the series, although I do have other books wanting and waiting to be written floating around in my head. I promised my hubby a vampire book, and I have another zombie book I want to write - which is focused more for the young adult/teen.

3.    Is it really you that posts and comments on Facebook and Twitter?
Yes, it's really me. I thought that would have been obvious, as I write personal things on them to connect more with my fans/followers - but after seeing some Facebook pages and blogs that I thought were written by the actual person, I was shocked to find they were, in fact, not written by them at all.
I couldn't do that. For one, my fans are what keeps me going, keeps me inspired, and keeps me smiling. Second, why? Why even have a page and allow someone else to pretend to be you? It makes no sense to me. Now if it were a fan page and clearly understood it is being written by a fan - in that fan's own name - that's different.

4.    Do you really sign all the books, bookmarks, and other stuff?
Yep! Again, all me. No one else does my job. I want all my fans to have a part of me, not someone else. I would be incredibly pissed to find out some unknown person signed something I had been led to believe was authentic. As long as it is ordered off of this website, won through my Facebook page or on any other page that I myself inform you about, or bought locally - I signed it. If you ever have any doubts, email or message me on Facebook or Twitter and I will find out if the copy you have is legit.

5.    Are there really hidden messages in your books?
    What the hell? No!
